A fantastic, true vintage Skylark lap steel featuring a solid Korina body & equipped with a fat Melody Maker single coil pickup for rich, robust tones.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. Overall the lap steel has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck/Body: Solid Korina in natural finish with raised gold Gibson headstock logo. Black & gold printed fingerboard with 29 fret markers. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with black buttons. Nickel bridge plate with cylinder bridge & nut. Lap steel weighs 4 lbs 12.5 oz.
Electronics: Fat Melody Maker single coil with black cover. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" reflector knobs. Pots date to '60 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. the right side latch is missing.
