Description

What makes this guitar special:  Produced during the Ampeg era between 1968 & 1970, this wonderful  small body acoustic features a solid spruce top along with solid ribbon mahogany sides & back.  A sweet little player with a rich, punchy tone.  A pro set up provided by the experts at Cream City Music ensures the guitar is ready for action straight out of the case!

Cosmetic Condition:  Good condition for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish wear.  There's a minor crack in the top that extends from behind the bridge, but it appears to be fairly old & quite stable.  The back of the bridge is lifting up just a tad & the front has what appears to be an old superficial crack, but neither issue affects playability & the bridge itself is quite firmly attached to the top of the guitar.  There's some disruption in the finish along either side of the neck heel, but the neck does not appear to have ever been off the guitar.  The natural finish of the top has aged into a dark caramel color probably from being in smokey places over the years & there is only a very faint nicotine odor, nothing overwhelming.  Overall the guitar has a wonderful, true vintage look to it with a nice patina.

Neck:  Slender profile mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays.  Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them.  Bound headstock with Grover Rotomatic tuners in perfect working condition.  1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.

Body:  Solid spruce top with 10-ply binding & ebony bridge.  2-ply, black/white pickguard & mulit-ring rosette.  Solid mahogany sides & back with single-ply binding.  15" lower bout width; 11 1/2" upper bout width; 4 1/2" depth.  There is no pickup & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 4.1 oz.

Case:  Hardshell case included.
