An excellent player's grade 6120 finished in classic orange & featuring some gorgeous flame figuring! This guitar was just recently acquired as part of a collection of vintage Gretsches & has been professionally set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's ready to play straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape for its age with some play wear. The guitar has been oversprayed, but still retains a cool vintage look.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & red side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl thumbnail inlays. Frets show only a tiny bit of wear & have tons of life in them. Bound headstock with mother of pearl Gretsch & Horseshoe inlays. Unoriginal Grover Rotomatic tuners. The extra screw holes have been filled. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions.
Body: Single cutaway, hollow maple body with some beautiful flame figuring. Bound top & back with bound F-holes. Gretsch Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Rocking Bar bridge. Pickguard is missing. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 5.5 oz.
Electronics: Gretsch SuperTron neck humbucker & FilterTron bridge humbucker with gold bezels. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls with "G" Arrow knobs. 3-way pickup, tone & standby selector switches. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage Gretsch "cowboy" hardshell case included. The outside of the case has been painted black.
