Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition for its age with only minimal, natural wear - tarnished hardware, mild ageing in the binding with just a tiny bit of cracking in the neck heel cap. Overall the guitar looks fantastic & shows off a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & red side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl thumbnail inlays. Frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with mother of pearl Gretsch & Horseshoe inlays. Grover tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, double-bound, chambered maple body with dual, similated F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Rocking Bar bridge. Mute assembly works, but the mute pad has deteriorated (as they typically do). Gold plexi pickguard with Chet Atkins signature. The guard is in great shape with no cracks. The back pad is also in great shape with no tears & all the snaps are present. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 10.3 oz.
Electronics: FilterTron humbuckers with gold bezels. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls all with "G" Arrow knobs. 3-way pickup, tone & standby switches. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original deluxe Cowboy hardshell case included - also in very clean condition.
