Description
A vintage 1963 Guild 98-RT tube combo amp. Likely built under contract by Ampeg or in conjunction with Ampeg, the 98-RT features a circuit that is extremely similar to an early Ampeg Reverberocket. Unlike the Reverberocket, the Guild 98-RT is extremely rare due to low production numbers. The amp features a fantastic reverb-soaked clean tone with a that turns into a thick drive as you push it. It also features an all-tube tremolo. A very unique piece that would make a fantastic addition to any amp collection. This amp has been cleaned and tested. It is fully functinal and sounds great.
