What makes this guitar special: Small body guitars are in vogue right now & this gorgeous F-20 Troubadour is a wonderful example of the fine acoustic craftsmanship that came out of Guild's Hoboken factory in the early days of the company. The guitar has a light airiness to it that makes it so much fun to play & its small size makes it the perfect travel companion.
Cosmetic Condition: Good, honest play wear with various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The bridge was reglued at some point, but was professionally done & looks great. Overall the guitar has a wonderful vintage vibe to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Guild silkscreen headstock logo. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. The D& G tuners are slightly bent, but still function properly. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, small body flat top. Solid spruce top with rosewood bridge & cream end-pins. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Mahogany back & sides. 14" lower bout width; 10 1/4" upper bout width; 4 1/4" depth. Guitar weighs a delightful 3 lbs 5.9 oz. There is no pickup.
Case: Vintage chipboard case included.
