This gorgeous flatop 12-string version of the D-50 features a spruce top with rosewood back & sides. Superb condition with a rich, shimmering tone & magnificent sound projection - what a beautiful voice! Professionally inspected & set up ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition for being 46 years old - various minor nicks & dings along with mild surface scratches. There are two ever so tiny cracks in the soundhole just below the treble & bass sides of the neck that were professionally glued & cleated. Overall the guitar looks really clean & has an ultra cool vibe to it!
Neck: Mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & cream side-dots. Frets do show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield headstock inlays. Guild diecast tuners work perfectly. 1 13/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss work is in perfect working condition.
Body: Square-shoulder dreadnought with multi-layer top & back binding. Solid spruce top with black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Ebony bridge with cream end pins & pearloid dot inlays. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with checkered center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 6 lbs even.
