What makes this guitar special: 100% original & in marvelous condition for its age. The Cherry finish is still quite strong & vibrant. The guitar has a wonderful, natural acoustic ring to it & everything is in perfect working condition.
Cosmetic Condition: It's hard to believe the guitar is over 50 years old! There are various chips in the finish, however, along with surface scratches & some weather checking here & there. But overall the guitar looks very clean & really shines!
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Closed-back tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. The back of the body shows off some nice swirl figuring in the wood. Trapeze tailpiece with Hagstrom emblem. Nickel bridge with adjustable saddles. Black plexi pickguard with silver Hagstrom logo & piping. Guitar weighs a delightful 5 lbs 14.5 oz.
Electronics: Dual single coils with black bezels. Bridge - 7.90K ohms; Neck - 6.32K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original heavy duty chipboard case included.
