Made for only a brief moment in the late '50s, this H42/2 model is all original & finished in an ultra cool Colorama Metallic Green. Sporting a super beefy neck & DeArmond single coil, it's about as basic as they come. Original chipboard case included & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a cool, authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Super chunky neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with only a tiny bit of wear. Open-gear strip tuners operate fine. 1 11/16" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well up & down the fretboard. There is no truss rod.
Body: Neck-thru design with thin wings. Harmometal body binding with rubber center strip. Top-loading wooden tailpiece with simple brass saddle. Single-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 11.4 oz.
Electronics: DeArmond single coil bar pickup with a tone bypass switch. Volume & tone concentric knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
