An ultra cool, true vintage hollowbody made in Germany featuring a pair of "Diamond" single coils that deliver classic Hofner tone. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape for its age with some mild play wear - various little nicks & dings; surface scratches & some weather checking. A small portion of the "H" in the Hofner headstock logo is missing.
Neck: Semi-chunky maple neck with nicely aged cream binding. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Pearloid headstock veneer with raised Hofner logo & unnoriginal, closed-back strip tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly. The neck heel cap is a replacement.
Body: Single-cutaway, hollow maple body with bound F-holes. The body shows off some pretty flame figuring. Tremolo tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge & pearloid pickguard. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 10 oz.
Electronics: Hofner "diamond" single coils with black bezels. Unoriginal control panel with dual volume control knobs. Rhythm, Bass & Treble switches all in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
