Description

What makes this guitar special? If you’re going for vintage vibe in terms of either look, sound, or both, this is the guitar for you. Outside of having a super light body, which makes it easy to play just about anywhere, it features a surprising acoustic resonance that translates beautifully into its overall tone. The pickups work with the construction to produce clean yet jangly tone with medium sustain and the classic woody character that is common for hollow body guitars. The controls are unique in the way they’re presented, but single volume and tone along with two on/off pickup switches make everything perfectly easy to dial in. Complete with a roller-style bridge and vibrato tailpiece, this guitar still plays pretty well considering its age, and definitely sports a heavy amount of vintage charm.

Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall, especially considering its age. It does have various nicks, dings, dents, and scratches, but on a whole largely remains clean and still looks fantastic. The frets are a bit worn down, but still play just fine and have some life left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.

Body: Double cutaway double bound laminate hardwood hollow body in Natural finish. Adjustable roller-style bridge with vibrato tailpiece. 3-ply raised pickguard. Butterscotch top hat-style control knobs.

Neck: Medium depth mix of C and D profile neck and rosewood fingerboard with rounded block inlays. 1 5/8” nut with zero fret. Vintage 3x3 open-gear tuning machines. 24.5” scale.

Electronics: Single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control. 2 x on/off pickup switches.

Neck: 4.66k Ohms

Bridge: 4.84k Ohms

Weight: 4 lbs 12.5 oz

Playability/Sound: The neck on this guitar, in terms of shape, is about as easy to play as any. Not too thin, not too chunky, so most players will be able to adapt quickly. The action is a little high due to the frets being worn and the general construction but it still plays well considering these factors. Between the pickups and the tone derived from the body, this guitar sounds straight-up awesome. It is certainly chocked full of vintage charm with clean but jangly tone and a bit of medium sustain woody character common in hollow bodies.

Case: Includes gig bag.
