Description

A true vintage beauty with a chunky neck & super cool sounding single coil that delivers gorgeous tone. This Kay K571 model Speed Demon features a fully hollow body that has a warm, natural acoustic tone to it & is exceptionally resonant, even before you plug it in. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!

Cosmetic Condition: Typical mild play wear & in really great shape for its age - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some light finish wear. Overall the guitar looks wonderful & has a cool vibe to it.

Neck: Chunky maple neck with some flame figuring on the bass-side. Thick Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Unoriginal Grover mini tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with Florentine cutaway & dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece with floating rosewood bridge. Single-ply black pickguard with Kay logo. Guitar weighs 6 lbs .

Electronics: Single coil neck pickup with master volume & tone controls. Pots date to '63 & all electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Original chipboard case included.
