Description
The first Kramer guitars were designed by Dennis Berardi & luthier Phil Petillo and featured aluminum necks with wooden inserts on the back to give them a wooden feel. This early prototype features a solid ebony neck with no aluminum and bolted to a solid maple body with lots of gorgeous bird's eye figuring throughout. Loaded with pair of muscular yet dynamic sounding humbuckers along with three mini toggles for. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for being about 45 years old, with very little play wear - various minor nicks & dings; mild surface scratches.
Neck: V-shaped ebony neck & fingerboard with with silver dot inlays. 24 frets in great shape with hardly any wear. Split headstock with Schaller tuners stamped Made In W. Germany. 1 3/4" width metal nut; 25" scale length.
Body: Double-cutaway, solid maple body in natural finish with lots of bird's eye figuring. Recessed, top-loading bridge with six individual adjustable saddles. Guitar weighs 9.55 lbs.
Electronics: Dual humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with Rickenbacker-style knobs. 3 mini toggle switches: coil tap for each pickup & series/parallel. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The middle latch is broken.
