Description
After great success building gypsy jazz guitars for Selmer, Mario Maccaferri ventured into the world of plastics & produced a variety of guitars & ukes in the 1950's made from Dow Styron. This G40 Deluxe model is the pinnacle result of that venture. Not exactly the greatest sounding archtop ever made, but then again that really wasn't the point. Cool look & a great vibe with an interesting history behind it. Set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition overall with some mild play wear & natural ageing. The headstock cover can pop up a bit during tuning so we kept it down tight with rubber bands.
