Description
A vintage 1987 Marshall JCM800 Master Model 2204 MKII Lead tube head. This classic amp needs little introduction. It and its big brother, the 100-watt 2203 defined the sound of 70s and 80s hard rock. With its thick, crunchy mid-range and dynamic low end, this amp is sure to make your power chords come alive.
The amp is all-original except for a couple caps and three resistors required to convert from the stock 6550 tubes to the proper UK-spec EL34s. Cosmetically, the amp is in nice condition overall. There are few tolex and grill cloth blemishes, and some of the front panel labeling has worn away. This amp has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds fantastic.
