Description
A stellar sounding D-18 with a terrific vibe & phenomenal playability. The tonewoods have opened up beautifully, giving the guitar a voice that is positively exquisite - the highs are well punctuated & the low end is very responsive, perfectly suited as a vocal accompaniment. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. There's a minor crack in the bass-side of the body waist that was professionally glued & cleated. Overall the guitar looks great with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe & gorgeous patina.
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. The fingerboard appears to have been shaved down a bit. Professionally refretted & frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Kluson Deluxe nickel tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well up & down the fretboard.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought with tortoise top & back binding. Solid spruce top with tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Rosewood bridge with black end pins. The bridge has been reglued & shaved down a bit. Solid mahogany back & sides. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 3 lbs 15.3 oz.
Case: Vintage chipboard case included.
