Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition actually, considering it's nearly 30 years old. Used, but certainly not abused, with signs of typical mild play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches & mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a really cool vibe to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with nicely aged ivoroid binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone inlays. The small strip of binding at the base of the fingerboard has been replaced. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with rosewood veneer & abalone CF Martin inlay. Martin gold open-gear Butterbean tuners & diamond volute. 1 11/16" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought size body in natural high-gloss finish. Solid spruce top with abalone purfling. Tortoise pickguard & abalone rosette. Ebony bridge with abalone snowflake inlays. Cream bridge pins with abalone dot inlays. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides herringbone center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 12.7 oz.
