Made for only a brief moment from around '85 to '96, the J12-40 M is a gorgeous sounding 12-string, featuring a 16" Jumbo body with a 14-fret neck & fitted with a K&K Pure Mini with Trinity internal mic so it's stage ready. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds terrific!
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some weather checking, but pretty good shape overall considering it's approaching 40 years of age.
Neck: Mahogany neck with nicely aged white binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone hexagon inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Martin gold diecast tuners with ebony buttons. 1 7/8" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound jumbo body in natural high-gloss finish. Solid spruce top with black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Ebony bridge & cream pins with abalone dot inlays. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with checkered center strip. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 4.7 oz.
Electronics: After-market K&K Pure Mini with Trinity internal mic.
Case: Original hardshell case included. There are some cracks in the case around the bottom foot knobs.
