What makes this guitar special: 100% original with an ultra cool, pure vintage vibe. This gorgeous Joe Maphis XVIII sports a double neck with six & twelve strings & is fitted with a Moseley tremolo on the six-string side. All four pickups sound fantastic & the guitar has been professionally set up here in our shop, so it's ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear.
Necks: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with micro dot inlays. Original small frets show some wear, but still have life in them. Kluson Deluxe nickel tuners are in good working condition. 1 9/16" nut width on 6-string; 1 11/16" nut width on 12-string, both with zero frets. Both necks are 24 3/4" scale length. Neck are straight & truss rods work fine.
Body: Offset, solid alder body in 3-tone sunburst finish. Moseley tremolo tailpiece (6-string) & wood/metal stop tailpiece (12-string). 3-ply mint pickguards are in great shape with only minimal warping & no cracks. Guitar weighs 11.95 lbs.
Electronics: Four single coil pickups with Mosrite embossed black covers & black bezels. 6-String: Bridge - 10.59K ohms; Neck - . 12-String: Bridge - 10.76K ohms; Neck - 10.42K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switches for each neck plus neck selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
