The nitro finish has aged perfectly giving the bass an authentic vintage vibe with just the right amount of play wear. The neck is smooth & quick & the dual humbuckers offer a warm, rich sound with plenty of tonal versatility offered by the dual EQ switches. The ash body is very resonant & feels great. Thanks to a pro set up from the experts at Cream City Music, this gorgeous Sabre is ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play with just the right look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass look super cool with an authentic vintage vibe & gorgeous patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Single string tree & bullet truss rod. Music Man open-back tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck dates to '80.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in trans Walnut finish. Top-loading Music Man bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles. 3-ply black pickguard. Bass weighs 10.25 lbs.
Electronics: Dual Alnico humbuckers with 3 mini toggle switches: one is a 3-way pickup selector & the two others are 2-way EQ with active electronics. Dual volume & master tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to ’79 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hard shell case included.
