Description
This model was dormant during the '70s & was reintroduced in '81, making this one a first year production model. Featuring similar hallmarks to John Lennon's 325, like the short scale & Jetglo finish. However this one is only a two-pickup version with an "R" tailpiece rather than a vibrato. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & lots of finish wear with areas showing dull spots & variegation. Overall the guitar has a really cool, true vintage look to it though.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with thick rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 21" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods work fine.
Body: Chambered maple body with "R" tailpiece & six-saddle adjustable bridge. Bridge cover is missing. Split-level white pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 15.3 oz.
Electronics: Dual Hi-Gain single coils. Dual volume & tone controls with boost blend. 3-way toggle switch & mono output. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
