Description

What makes this bass special: 100% original & finished in a super groovy Burgundyglo! Traces of flame figuring can be detected in the top of the body & neck. This gorgeous 4003 offers desirable tone & feel, highly sought-after in the solid body bass market. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it plays & sounds fantastic!

Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. Overall the bass looks wonderful & plays great!

Neck: Semi-chunky maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl triangle inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Open-back nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 33 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods work fine.

Body: Neck-thru design with solid maple wings & top binding. Top-loading bridge with adjustable saddles & chrome hardware. Single-ply white pickguard & control panel. Bass weighs 9 lbs 7.1 oz.

Electronics: Hi-Gain single coils. The bridge pickup is missing its cover. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. Mono & stereo outputs. Pots date to '80 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
