Description

A fantastic player with superb tone & marvelous natural resonance. These older Ric basses can sometimes be a bit finicky, but this is a really good one! Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready for action straight out of the case!

Cosmetic Condition: Ultra cool look with authentic play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. The buckle rash on the back of the body was colored in red by the previous owner. Overall the bass has a great look to it with a cool vibe & gorgeous patina.

Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl triangle inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-gear nickel tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods work fine.

Body: Neck-thru design with solid maple wings. & top binding. Top-loading bridge with adjustable saddles. Unoriginal white swirl split pickguard. Bass weighs 9 lbs 5.6 oz.

Electronics: Original single coil pickups with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls. Both tone pots date to '80, however, both volume pots are unoriginal. All electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included.
