A vintage 1964 Selmer Zodiac Twin Fifty tube combo amp in exceptional condition. Extremly hard to come by, these UK-made rivals to the Marshall Bluesbreaker and Vox AC30 amps feature an incredible look and top-notch build quality. This example, the tube-rectified 50-watt version, is the rarest of the rare. Aside from some sharpie marks on the lower chassis and a couple minor electrical maintanence changes it is 100% original and extremely clean.
The Zodiac Twin Fifty is a British EL-34-based that has a sound all to its own. Its big clean tone and throaty crunch reminds of classic 50s and 60s American amps, but the added versatility of the Truvoice tone selector allows for an incredible variety of tones. Top it all off with juicy all-tube tremolo--accentuated by the pulsing, "magic eye" indicator on the amp face, and you have one cool vintage amp.
This rare, vintage amplifier has been cleaned, serviced and is fully functional. It's the perfect addition to any high-end amp collection.
