Description
A rare, Italian-made 12-string produced for only a brief moment in the late '60s featuring three split single coil pickups with both Mono & Stereo outputs. There are individual volume & tone controls for each pickup (six for the bass side & six for the treble side) offering unparalleled tonal shaping. Fully inspected & professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. The pickguard has shrunk a bit with some pretty severe cracking between the tailpiece & bridge.
Neck: Flame maple neck with nicely aged white binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Paddle headstock shape with Vox closed-back tuners & double string trees. 1 13/16" width metal nut with zero fret; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Unique five-sided solid body finished in red with a removable snap-on back pad. Stop tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge. 3-ply aged white pickguard shows shrinkage & multiple cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 0.6 oz.
Electronics: Three "split-coil" (3+3) single-coil pickups. Each pickup is divided internally into two separate circuits (one for the bass strings, one for the treble strings). 12 control knobs: 6 volume controls (one for each coil) & 6 tone controls (one for each coil). It also includes phase switches for each coil & a stereo/mono output switch. Capable of sending the signal to two amplifiers simultaneously using a special stereo cable (not included). All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
