Walrus Audio's Fable Granular Soundscape generator is the perfect tool for players who want to create bizarre reverbs, glitchy swarms of delay, cinematic textures, and everything in between. With its five unique granular delay programs centered around sample and chop algorithms, users can create a wealth of incredible experimental sounds.
At the core of the Fable is a granular effect that micro-samples short audio clips from the input signal and reads them from a delay buffer. Players can adjust these samples by changing their length, buffer size, and position, opening up pitch-shifting, time-stretching, reverse effects, and more. While it sounds complex, the Fable's intuitive interface makes it easy to dial-in some great sounds.

I. Reverse Delay into Reverse Granulator: Audio samples are played in reverse. Crank the sample size for sputters and glitch effects, or keep it low for a long, smooth reverse delay.
II. Delay into Octave Up: The delay signal runs through a double-speed program, creating tons of octave-up audio bites that give your sound a bright, cascading effect.
III. Analog Delay into Octave Down: A rich, dark delay is processed through an octave-down program, creating a series of slowed-down repeats with a thick, syrupy texture.
IV. Multi-tap Granular into Multi-tap Granular: Several audio bites interact with each other in the Fable's feedback paths, creating glitches, organic-sound reverbs, and more.
