If you've been looking for the ultimate envelope Eurorack module, your search ends with the WMD Javelin. This device combines WMD's signature multi-mode envelope and an ADSR with an integrated voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA), giving it tons of sonic flexibility and an interactive, "playable" feel.
For starters, the Javelin can be used as a simple ADSR envelope, with knobs to adjust the Attack, Decay, Sustain, and Release of the filter. It expands upon that with three additional level ranges that control the amplitude of the envelope. For even more flexibility, it has three time ranges that manipulate the length of each envelope stage, ranging from very short to a whopping 88 minutes per stage with an external CV input.
Accent and Choke inputs open up the expressiveness of the WMD Javelin. By sending repeated triggers to the Accent input while it's high, you can cause the envelope to hit harder on each gate for a "constantly evolving" effect, perfect for producing funky acid-style bass lines. Additionally, the Accent input is a CV input, allowing users to limit the accent level of the envelope.
