The DRV No3 is a boutique overdrive pedal with a rich, vintage sound. Painstakingly designed for over three years by 1981 Inventions and Jon Ashley of Bondi effects, this pedal is powerful, easy to use, and perfect for players who love classic drive tones.
The DRV No3 features two circuits, a distortion and a preamp boost, which run internally at 18V. This gives it plenty of sonic versatility, allowing players to dial in a wealth of excellent tones. At lower gain settings, the DRV No3 has a warm, sweet sound with a decidedly vintage character. At higher gain settings, it growls, delivering a thick, punchy tone with pronounced mids. While it naturally has a more classic sound, players can easily adjust the DRV No3 to fit contemporary settings via the Drive, Cut, and Volume controls.
Now available in a Stranger Things-themed black and red enclosure, the 1981 Inventions DRV No3 is excellent for players who want a premium overdrive pedal with an old-school sound.
