The Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul in Crimson Fog Satin takes the familiar Les Paul platform and rebuilds it around modern speed, comfort, and tonal flexibility. Its mahogany body uses Ultra Modern weight relief and is topped with maple and a highly figured flamed maple veneer, while the satin Crimson Fog finish and black hardware give it a darker, performance-focused look. A Modern Contoured Heel and rear belly carve make the body easier to handle than a traditional Les Paul, making this a strong fit for players who want classic single-cut authority with more ergonomic features for high-gain playing, recording, rehearsals, and live use.
The thermally aged one-piece maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods and shaped to Epiphone's HyperGlide profile for a fast, stable feel. Custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups provide three distinct tonal options through push/pull controls, including modern high-output active humbucker tones, vintage-inspired Patent Applied For-style humbucker character, and clear single-coil-style articulation. Individual volume controls handle coil splitting, while the tone controls select pickup voicings, giving the guitar much more range than a standard HH Les Paul. Locking Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut, LockTone Modern bridge, and string-through tailpiece provide the stability and sustain needed for demanding modern playing.
