Jose Arredondo's legendary amplifier modifications helped shape the sound of high-gain rock, delivering greater sustain, richer harmonics, tighter lows, and a more responsive feel from classic British amps. The JOSE 20 Series captures that unmistakable character in a compact 20-watt platform, with internally bridged Volume I and Volume II controls that recreate the classic channel-jumping technique and blend bright attack with warm, harmonically rich body.
A Plexi/Gain switch adds a true additional gain stage, taking the amp from classic Plexi response to the aggressive saturation associated with Jose's most celebrated modifications, while the Fat switch adds low-end punch without sacrificing clarity. A three-position Gain Style switch further expands the tonal range by repositioning the master volume within the circuit and adding diode clipping, producing everything from articulate hot-rodded crunch to heavy rhythm tones and smooth, sustaining lead sounds.
A transparent series effects loop and System Master Volume make the JOSE 20 equally suited for recording, rehearsing, live performance, or home use. Available as a 20-watt head or a 1x12 combo loaded with a Celestion G12M-65, the JOSE 20 delivers the punch, feel, and harmonic complexity of one of rock's most influential amplifier voices in a versatile design built for today's player.
