About B Stock:

This is a B-Stock or factory blemished guitar. It is not a return or refurbished instrument and it is not used. Almost without exception the blemishes we see are nearly imperceptible in the form of minor hazing or scuffing on the finish, or a very small binding inconsistency. These blemishes are always very minor and can save you hundreds of dollars on your purchase! We inspect each B-Stock extensively before we ship and guarantee that you will be satisfied with your purchase with our return policy. If you have any questions about the nature of these "B" Stock instruments please feel free to reach out to us!

Gretsch's G6136B-TP is Cheap Trick bassist Tom Petersson's signature model. It is a unique spin on the White Falcon Bass's remarkable design, with a few features that make it a fantastic player. Tonally, you're dealing with a Rumble'Tron neck pickup and a Seymour Duncan Super'Tron middle pickup. These two pickups provide plenty of tonal versatility, so whether you're after Cheap Trick-esque pop-rock sounds or a cleaner, more subdued tone, this Signature Model delivers. Plus, this bass's short 30.3" scale makes it fun to handle, with a great-playing ebony fingerboard over a "U" shaped maple neck. It's a visual stunner as well, thanks to Mother-of-Pearl Humpblock inlays with Feather Engraving, Gold Sparkle binding with black and white purfling, and the iconic White Falcon logo on the pickguard.

Why We Love Gretsch

Gretsch has been handcrafting guitars for over 135 years. The unique sound of the Gretsch semi-hollow body guitar has become synonymous with rockabilly music, one of the first styles of rock ‘n roll. Gretsch guitars are a favorite among musicians like Chet Atkins, Brian Setzer and George Harrison. At Cream City Music, we love Gretsch too, which is why we always have a huge selection of new, used and vintage Gretsch guitars in stock.
