At the center of the StroboStomp HD is a large high-definition LCD display with fully customizable multi-color LED backlighting. Colors can be assigned globally or linked to specific tuning presets for faster navigation during live performance. Peterson's exclusive Sweetened Tunings and Guided Tunings make this especially useful for players working with alternate tunings, acoustic instruments, or detailed intonation setups. Guided Tunings replace note names with numeric string values for faster and more intuitive retuning, while the tuner's ±0.1 cent accuracy keeps everything extremely precise. The display also remains highly visible outdoors and in direct sunlight, making it a strong option for festival and outdoor players.
The StroboStomp HD gives players multiple routing options including completely silent true bypass, Pure Buffered Output mode, and monitor mode with the tuner always visible. The redesigned dual relay true bypass system eliminates the loud popping common in many true-bypass tuners, while the Pure Buffer helps preserve signal clarity across large pedalboards and long cable runs. Peterson also included a dedicated 9V power output for powering additional pedals directly from the tuner.
