The Fender Player II Mustang Rosewood in Cactus Gray is a compact, comfortable option with classic short-scale feel and plenty of character. It's a great fit for players of all levels-especially those who prefer a lighter, easier-playing guitar for smaller hands or tighter setups. That shorter 24" scale gives you a slightly slinkier string tension and a naturally warmer, punchier tone.
You get a pair of Player Series Alnico 5 Mustang single-coils, voiced to deliver snappy response and clarity with a bit more punch than vintage examples. The 3-way toggle lets you flip between neck, bridge, or both, keeping it quick and intuitive. It's wired simply-just volume and tone-so you can focus on playing, not dialing in.
The rosewood board and satin-finished Modern "C" maple neck make for a smooth, fast feel, with rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets keeping things comfortable under the fingers. It's well-built, easy to maintain, and built to last. We've seen these appeal to indie players, punk players, and anyone after a more compact Fender without giving up tone or vibe.
