An ultra cool CME exclusive R9 that was sent back to Gibson for warranty evaluation. An aftermarket certificate is included with the guitar indicating the relatively minor finish issues, but nothing really out of the ordinary that you might find with a gently used guitar anyway. Fully inspected & professionally set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. The word DEMO is pressed in the back of the headstock, but overall the guitar is in great shape with no structural or electronic issues.
Neck: One-piece mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Professionally refretted & the frets are clean with no wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: One-piece, solid mahogany body with flame maple top finished in Factory Burst. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & jackplate. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 9.8 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson Custombuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. Bumble Bee caps & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA. Aftermarket Certification & Warranty Evaluation card is also included.
