Description

The Gretsch G2622 Streamliner Center Block reinvigorates classic Gretsch elements with a touch of modern flair, crafting a unique semi-hollow body that sounds and plays just as great as it looks. This model is finished in a gorgeous walnut stain and features vintage-style gold knobs, F-holes, two-ply white/black binding, and nickel hardware to create an intriguing aesthetic. Tonally, the G2622 is powered by a pair of Broad'Tron humbuckers, which provide well-rounded tone (hence the name) that is great for a variety of styles. With the guitar's lightweight spruce center block, you get less feedback, a secured, reinforced top, and resonant semi-hollow feel. A 12" radius rosewood fingerboard and "U" shaped neck making fretting incredibly easy, whether you're playing chords or leads. With its excellent combination of tone, feel, and looks, the G2622 Streamliner is one semi-hollow body you won't want to miss out on.

Cosmetic Condition: Excellent overall condition. This Gretsch has some minor surface/pick scratches, but these are few and far between, and also only show in direct light. In addition, this guitar comes with fresh strings and low action, courtesy of Cream City Music's signature setup.

Neck: Nato neck with Thin "U" profile, Laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, 1.6875" nut width, 12" fingerboard radius, and big block position inlays.

Body: Left-handed, double-cutaway laminated maple body with center block. Aged White binding, gloss Single Barrel Stain finish, and 1.75" body depth.

Electronics: 2x Broad'Tron humbuckers, bridge volume, neck volume, master volume, and master tone knobs. 3-position toggle switching.

Weight: 6 lbs. 12 oz.

Why We Love Gretsch

Gretsch has been handcrafting guitars for over 135 years. The unique sound of the Gretsch semi-hollow body guitar has become synonymous with rockabilly music, one of the first styles of rock ‘n roll. Gretsch guitars are a favorite among musicians like Chet Atkins, Brian Setzer and George Harrison. At Cream City Music, we love Gretsch too, which is why we always have a huge selection of new, used and vintage Gretsch guitars in stock.
