We're sorry. This item is no longer in stock.

The G6228FM Players Edition Jet BT features a fantastic set of pickups, a select mahogany body, and the remarkable performance synonymous with Gretsch Players Edition guitars. Its chambered mahogany body provides the best combination of lightweight feel and resonance, with a 1.85” body depth that aids in your picking attack for a fully-realized sound and in-hand feel. Plus, the eye-catching Crimson Stain finish really makes the flame maple top pop. This guitar is also unique in its V-Stoptail, making it a great alternative to Jet models with Bigsby vibrato systems. The G6228FM also features Gretsch's all-new Broad'Tron BT65 pickups, which were designed by renowned pickup guru Tim Shaw. They are designed for versatility first - a well-balanced overall sound that not only cleans up nicely, but has plenty of power for overdriven tone.

Cosmetic Condition: Excellent overall condition. This Gretsch has a few small surface scratches that only show in direct light, and these very well could just be buffing swirls from the factory. The guitar is nearly spotless. Plus, it comes with fresh strings and low action, courtesy of Cream City Music's signature setup.

Why We Love Gretsch

Gretsch has been handcrafting guitars for over 135 years. The unique sound of the Gretsch semi-hollow body guitar has become synonymous with rockabilly music, one of the first styles of rock ‘n roll. Gretsch guitars are a favorite among musicians like Chet Atkins, Brian Setzer and George Harrison. At Cream City Music, we love Gretsch too, which is why we always have a huge selection of new, used and vintage Gretsch guitars in stock.
