Description

Inspired by the rich, complex tones of analog delay pedals, the Strymon Brig dBucket gives musicians access to three incredible-sounding delay effects in one compact enclosure. From soft, dreamlike delays to warm, gritty repeats, this unique stompbox has a diverse array of remarkable sounds on tap. But that's not all - it can also be controlled via MIDI, has a seamless tap tempo function, and boasts a JFET stereo input preamp. Pack all that up into a heavy-duty chassis, and you've got the Strymon Brig: The ultimate stereo delay pedal.

The Brig has three primary modes that serve as the foundation for your sound - these are your bread and butter. Set it to 3205, and it'll dish out stunning slapback echoes and experimental sci-fi effects depending on your settings. Flip the toggle to 3005, and the Brig will perfectly emulate a dual MN3005 BBD chip circuit, creating a long, nostalgic delay sound. The final voicing, MULTI, features a pair of cross-coupled dBucket delay lines, giving it a massive stereo sound that's exceptionally clean, even when on the verge of self-oscillation.

After setting a base tone using the mode switch, players can fine-tune their signal using the Brig's intuitive 5-knob interface. The knobs act exactly as expected - the TIME knob changes the delay time, MIX blends in the wet signal, and REPEAT adjusts how many times the delayed signal repeats - it makes it effortless to find your favorite sounds. The real fun, though, is with the MOD knob. This control interacts differently with each voicing, producing awesome stereo effects and lush, sweeping modulation sounds.

Strymon designed the Brig's tap tempo function for smooth, easy use. No longer will players have to worry about ramps, mutes, clicks, or pitch-shifting like they would with a real analog delay pedal. Instead, it has a seamless sound that lets users focus on what they're playing. Of course, if you want that organic analog tap tempo sound, you can adjust the Time knob to create those distinctive, quirky BBD tones.

What else does the Brig have in store? A low-noise JFET stereo input preamp, MIDI control for saving and recalling presets, a USB jack, an ARM DSP chip, and much more. This pedal's built for performance. Contact us today if you've been searching for an incredibly advanced stereo delay pedal with a rich, saturated sound!
