Inspired by classic British Class-A amplifier designs, the Morgan AC delivers everything from sparkling cleans to rich, harmonically complex breakup while maintaining the pedal-friendly headroom and articulation that modern players demand. As with all Synergy modules, this unit requires a compatible Synergy amplifier or preamp dock for operation.
Designed by Joe Morgan himself, the AC module features two independently switchable channels powered by a pair of 12AX7 preamp tubes. Each channel is equipped with its own Gain, Volume, and Bright switch, allowing you to set up complementary clean and driven sounds that can be accessed instantly. A shared Bass, Mid, and Treble EQ section keeps the control layout intuitive while providing plenty of flexibility to dial in everything from jangly vintage-inspired tones to thicker British crunch. The onboard three-position Cathode Select switch further allows players to tailor the feel and low-end response to their preferences.
