The Synergy Tone King Imperial MKII Preamp Module brings one of the most respected boutique American amp designs into the Synergy platform. Designed for players who want everything from sparkling Blackface-inspired cleans to rich Tweed-style overdrive, the Imperial MKII delivers the touch sensitivity, harmonic complexity, and dynamic response that have made Tone King amplifiers favorites among studio musicians and tone enthusiasts alike. As with all Synergy modules, this is a standalone preamp module that requires a compatible Synergy amplifier or preamp dock for operation.
Loaded with two 12AX7 preamp tubes, the Imperial MKII features independent Rhythm and Lead channels that faithfully recreate the dual-channel layout of the original amplifier. The Rhythm channel offers classic American clean tones with dedicated Volume, Bass, Treble, and Attenuation controls, while the Lead channel adds Volume, Tone, Mid-Bite, and Attenuation controls for everything from edge-of-breakup grit to thick, harmonically rich overdrive.
