Fender's all-new American Elite Stratocaster boasts a huge array of top-notch features, making it stand in a class all its own. Its new V-Mod single-coil pickups were designed by pickup expert Tim Shaw, and provide specific voicings for each position, with a healthy mix of different alnico magnets that allow for new tonal details to be discovered. This HSS version of the American Elite features a Shawbucker in the bridge position for the added power of a humbucker. Sparkly highs, buttery midrange, and smooth low-end frequencies are all on display thanks to these upgraded pickups. The American Elite also features a new compound neck/neck heel for the ultimate in playability. A compound profile of "C" to "D" gives players comfort and stability throughout, making its 22-fret fingerboard more easily navigable than ever before. S-1 Switching allows access to series/parallel wiring options, putting a whole new range of sounds at your disposal. Other appointments such as a double action truss rod adjustment wheel, short-post locking tuning machines, and soft touch knobs round out this Fender’s stellar feature set. The American Elite Stratocaster is the ultimate in playability and tone, while staying true to classic Fender aesthetics.
