The American Vintage II 1966 Jazzmaster features a comfortable "C" shape maple neck that plays like a dream with a 7.25" radius round-lam rosewood fingerboard and vintage tall frets. Characteristic of production in 1966, this guitar is offered with white neck binding, pearl blocks, single-line "Fender Deluxe" tuners and matching painted headstock.
The patented "floating" tremolo, adjustable bridge with threaded saddles and Pure Vintage '66 Jazzmaster pickups, wired to the signature rhythm and lead circuits, deliver classic tone and authentic Fender feel.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition - exceptionally clean & like new. The plastic wrap is still over the pickguard!
Neck: C-shaped maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. 21 vintage tall frets are clean with no wear. Pure Vintage single line "Fender Deluxe" tuners & bone nut. 1.650" nut width & 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in Dakota Red with matching headstock. Pure Vintage Jazzmaster tailpiece & adjustable bridge with threaded steel barrel saddles. 3-ply parchment pickguard & nickel/chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 3.7 oz.
Electronics: Dual Pure Vintage '66 Single-Coil Jazzmaster pickups with 3-way toggle switch. Master volume & tone controls with white "witch hat" knobs. Lead Circuit Controls (Slide Switch Down): Master Volume, Master Tone; Rhythm Circuit Controls (Slide Switch Up): Two Thumbwheel Controls for Neck Pickup Volume and Tone. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with accessories.
