Painstakingly reconstructed from a 1963 "copper panel" reference unit, it faithfully recreates the signature EL84-driven chime, phase-inverter breakup, and dynamic voltage sag that defined the 1960s AC15. From hand-wired circuitry and custom transformers to a vintage-spec 12mm birch ply cabinet, every component is designed to deliver the harmonics, resonance, and responsiveness that made the original a legend.
At the same time, the AC15 Hand-Wired adds contemporary features like a bypass-able master volume, transparent effects loop, and lush custom-voiced spring reverb. Its Normal and Top Boost channels provide the full spectrum of Vox tone, while the exclusive Boost switch introduces rich, vintage-style overdrive.
