A killer looking Axis featuring the ever-comfortable, asymmetric maple neck shape that is peppered with exquisite bird's eye figuring. The quilted maple top is absolutely stunning & looks fabulous under the Translucent Gold finish. 22 stainless steel frets, double-locking tremolo & custom DiMarzio humbuckers in a basswood body - this tonewood/pickup combination is the perfect recipe for hard edge rock tones, but also delivers a subtle dynamic response at lower volume levels when needed. Professionally set up & ready to rock straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Maple neck & fingerboard with some really pretty bird's eye figuring & black dot inlays. 22 stainless steel frets are clean with no wear. Schaller tuners with pearloid buttons. 1 5/8" nut width with locking nut; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid basswood body with a stunning quilted maple top in Translucent Gold finish & cream binding. MusicMan High Stability Tremolo System with original trem arm. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 11.1 oz.
Electronics: DiMarzio double humbuckers with master volume & 3-way toggle switch.
The original volume knob cracked a bit, so there's a replacement currently on the guitar, but the original knob is included. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
